Nickel City was founded by one of the most driven and determined person I know. James & Cynthia Scott not only provide beautiful clothes and books they can’t keep on the shelf, but they also donate a portion of every sale to women in need. They are true contributors to their community and society as a whole!!

This is an affordable community clothing and book store with very fashionable clothing and great books available for purchase at super affordable prices. Proceeds of all purchases goes back to the community. These business owners outreach an support the community daily. They offer a free outfit to those recently released from prison or jail and they send prisoners books to read for free. I love this little shop and the encouragement and support I always get when I visit. I definitely nominate them for the award.

I can either place an order online, or call the store, and it’s shipped out quickly, priced reasonable, and it’s always a pleasure to speak with the proprietors. I know I’m not their only customer, but they sure make me feel like it! I recommend this store to anyone looking for a great deal, a great experience, and shopping ease!
