I adopted a dog one year ago. She would have been euthanized had patriots not rescued her. She is such an amazing dog and we love her dearly. So thankful for an organization that cares so deeply for rescuing dogs!

When looking on line to find a rescue dog who would be a good fit, I struggled to find enough information about the dog to make an informed decision. Then I came across Patriots for Pets on Petfinder. They seemed to really know the dogs in their care and it was evident had a passion to find the right match. I decided to apply for adoption and make the 2 and a half hour drive to find my forever dog which I did. I adopted Blue 2 weeks ago based on his information on the website and after meeting and spending time with him. He is the most amazing, smart and loving guy and is just thriving in his new home. Couldn’t have been a better fit. The woman who assisted us had such passion for her job. I hope to adopt another dog down the road and wouldn’t go anywhere else as know Blue would love a playmate. There is nothing more amazing than sharing your life with an animal who needs a loving home and Patriots for Pets does their best to make that happen.

Every night when I go to bed, I tell my dachshund mix how much I love her & how thankful I am to have her in my life. We probably wouldn’t have found each other if it hadn’t been for Patriots for Pets Rescue & Shelter. I wouldn’t hesitate one bit to adopt another dog from them. They try to get the best possible home for each dog. In my case, it could not have worked out any more perfect if I had tried.

We adopted our baby Tug from patriots for pets almost a year ago now!! We love him so much and are so thankful for patriots for pets!! We drove from four hours away to get him and they where super accommodating and super friendly!! When we decide it is time for a second dog we will gladly drive four hours again to patriots for pets!!

I am a foster mom for Patriots for pets. They have such an amazing group of people there that always go up and beyond saving and caring for all the animals there. If it wasn’t for what Patriots for pets do I wouldn’t have my two boys.

Patriots for Pets Rescue is Awesome! I found my baby through them. They are there for the animals, not to just find homes but to find the “right”home for the animals. I will always highly recommend them. They have great programs also. Patriots is a fantastic asset for our community.

We adopted one of our 3 rescue dogs from Patriots for Pets. We live in the same town & they are a loving, compassionate organization!! They continue to do good works for the love of animals, that can not defend themselves. A tireless job well done!!!

Patriots for Pets Rescue and Shelter is an AMAZING place! They have saved and adopted thousands of dogs and cats in the few short years they have been in business. They LOVE each and every animal that comes through their doors and beyond by going to the utmost of capabilities to ensure every fur baby gets love, attention and the needed medical attention they all need to be happy and healthy! They thoroughly screen all potential adopters to ensure they are the right match for each animal they want to adopt. I could go on and on about this wonderful organization but will sum it up by saying they so deserve this and SO MUCH MORE!!!

Patriots for pets is an amazing shelter! The staff take such great care of all the animals and they have such compassion for them as well, I adopted a kitten from them and they were all in such great condition, the staff were extremely helpful with any questions i had and tge kennels and litter boxes were very clean! I will keep adopting animals from patriots and they deserve to be nominated because they work so hard making sure every animal is well taken care of, the animals know what love is before they leave and they always make sure the animals go to loving homes perfect for them! Keep it up you guys those animals are lucky to have you! ❤️

I have adopted from Patriots and they definitely have and ALWAYS will have the best interest of the animals in their care. Thanks to you all those forgotten furbabies have a second chance at a wonderful life.As volunteers we see first hand what amazing work that this location does on a daily basis. We got our dog Bruno from there, he was a five year old Rottie, at the time, he is a fantastic family member now. They are careful to match dogs to the right owners and that makes a difference in how the dog and the family fare.

Patriots for Pets Rescue and Shelter is one of the greatest shelters I have ever heard of. They are all volunteers which shows how much they love these dogs. I love how they will travel to far away states to rescue dogs in kill shelters and find them great homes. I have gotten my little dog from them and they are very through on finding just the right home for each dog. One of the administrators even spent time in jail for defending a dog that they adopted out and ended up in the hands of the wrong person. We have to sign a form that states if we cannot keep the dog for some reason we have to give it back to them. They spay, neuter,do all shots and microchip all the dogs they adopt out. They also do not charge a large fee. The dogs are also groomed! My daughter also adopted her dog from them and I have various friends that have also adopted from them. People come from all over the country to find their perfect forever pet. I just can\’t say enough about these people, they are just awesome!!!!

I adopted 2 dogs from Patriots for Pets (PFP). Previous to that I fostered a puppy in their autism program. All the volunteers I have dealt with at patriots are caring professionals. Their primary goal is saving pets from bad situations including euthanasia. One of my dogs was saved by PFP from a high kill facility in Texas. She was driven back to Iowa along with many other dogs who subsequently were placed in good homes. My other dog was rescued from a home where she was left without food and water. I fostered her for while to bring her back to health then later adopted her. The volunteers at PFP provide support when I have issues and continue to care about the dogs they save. These are wonderful dedicated people who provide an valuable service. 525054

We had adopted our first dog from them last November. The shelter was clean, and everyone was super friendly. They really seemed to take time with us and made sure the dog was choosing us and not just us choosing any old dog! They really go above and beyond in their care for the animals!!!

Patriots for Pets are absolutely amazing. They truly care about the animals that come to their rescue center. I have nothing but the utmost respect for Debbie and her staff, who go above and beyond in helping us who adopt their dogs/puppies.

As a volunteer and adopter from Patriots For Pets Rescue and Shelter I know first hand how much they do for the animals in their care. They go above and beyond for each and everyone that is in their care. As a foster home for them including hospice foster, they make sure all needs are cared for. “That includes the love they need to make them a happy dog. It doesn’t matter if it is a young pup or a senior close to it’s time. As for all the senior dogs out there, Patriots does not hesitate to take one in and give them what they need. They are great at getting them the love and right forever home for each individual senior. they have taken on some hard case medical issues without hesitation. there are many good rescue and shelters out there but I believe Patriots For Pets is one of the best rescue and shelter there is
