One of the few programs inexistece today that is a win for everyone. These pets get trained with kindness and patience and are placed in families that have met them, love them and want are the best fit increasing the chance of forever. The inmates earn the honor, learn the skills and are taught love and loyalty and families looking to add a pet to their home have the opportunity to find the best fit for the., their home and lifestyle. The volunteers get tremendous satisfaction of being a part of something so great. They are dedicated to a cause that changes all lives involved, the dogs, the inmates and the families …..better!!!!

Paws on Parole is an amazing program. Their program is responsible for removing over 350 dogs from animal control and after the dog’s graduation, all dogs have all found permanent homes. Paws on Parole helps the inmates who work with and train the dogs gain valuable skills which they can use once released. Paws on Parole helps the dogs and their trainers. It is a win-win for the dogs, the inmates and the community.

Paws on Parole is a WONDERFUL program. We got our guy POP from them almost 6 years ago. Best overall dog I have ever been around. Paws does great things for the dogs, the inmates and the forever families that get these pups. They only got 5 stars because 6 wasn’t an option.

Paws on Parole is a fantastic program saving shelter dogs, providing their inmate trainers with skills and changing lives for the dogs, trainers and adoptive families. The volunteer support and partnership with the Fl. Dept. of Corrections is also incredible. Definitely a program to model and replicate.

I love the fact that Paws on Parole helps shelter dogs, and trains them, as well as advertises for them to find a new home. I also love that they are working with inmates to help them develop skills to use when they are released. All around, and amazing organization!!!!
