I have volunteered there since 1983 and always found the staff and other volunteers knowledgeable and caring. Since 1992, I have adopted five wonderful dogs and fostered several others. I would recommend Pet Orphans of Southern California to anyone looking to adopt a shelter cat or dog. They do an excellent job of vetting each,orphan for,thembest match.
