This is a local organization that goes out of their way to help pets and families stay together, or rehome them safely. Not to mention all of the medical help many animals receive due to them. Wonderful people!

Power of the Paw rescues the most challenging animals, often ones who require intense medical care before they can be adopted. This doesn’t phase them, they just work harder to provide for the animals. The volunteers foster the animals until they can be adopted, or in extreme cases provide hospice care while the animal can still enjoy a quality of life.

Thank goodness we have Power of the Paw to rescue and save these abandoned and neglected pups.. they work tirelessly with little money. They are an awesome crew!!

I love power of the Paw! We adopted a Rottweiler from them. After having him for a a few days it turned out that the former owners weren’t forthcoming with their information. He was extremely aggressive and was in dire need of serious training. Power of the Paw did not hesitate to help us with his training. They go above and beyond for these animals to ensure they have a long, healthy and happy life with their new families. Thank you Power of the Paw for all you do!

Power of the Paw utilizes all of its resources to improve the quality of life for each and every animal that crosses their path. They are greatly respected in the Northwest and continue to work with the aid of their community to not only find homes for pets but also to see to each and every animals medical and nutritional needs. They are a worthy and dedicated organization I personally support.

How could you not be a fan of POTP? They are HEROES! To people, their pets, pets who need people and medical treatment. Its amazing what they do for the animals. Drive to Montana to take cats of a man who is dying? Its heartbreaking and heart warming all at the same time. Once I will the lottery I will be able to give them funds to buy a facility to help even more animals find their forever people!

I cannot say enough about POTP. We have adopted both of our dogs from them. Our first adopted dog, Quinn, contracted parvo before we got her home. POTP went above and beyond to save her life. We are so lucky they love animals with the passion they do because with out them, we would not have our wonderful family members!

Power of the Paw does amazing things for our community, and not just rescuing pets. They do a lot of outreach, education, and volunteering (such as to trap run away dogs). They are very responsive with advice and recommendations when needed. They truly make our community a better, well informed, compassionate place.

Every week I check in and see the animals these people help and I am so thankful there are people out there like them who take the time and effort to do so. Its absolutely necessary for us to support them anyway we can whether it be by donations, thoughts and prayers or by simply spreading awareness to ensure their work can be continued.

This is a wonderful rescue who cares deeply for animals. They are quick to take in medical cases and nurse them back to health. I have a dog I adopted from them who they pulled from a shelter because they thought she may have been shot. Turned out to be a bad bite. I love that they make sure all animals are spay or neutered and that they do a home check before adopting out their animals. My Abbi who came from them is a wonder dog.

Power of the Paw is an amazing organization that helps speak for animals that need lots of attention. Without them many would not make it. They take animals with severe medical needs and dogs that most rescues would not. They are such a huge asset to the local animal population. They deserve all the support they can get. I adopted one of their dogs and appreciated the dedication of the organization to match animals with the right home.

I have followed and been involved with them since not long after they started. I have three rescue dogs because of the, three dogs saved. The last was the most heart warming. Oliver (Aka James) was a dog flown up from CA and sent to humane society. Adopted and returned due to heart worm. They contacted power of the Paw who cared for him until we adopted. He is healthy and happy now! This group is amazing and takes every dog no one will take on due to medical conditions or behaviors and tirelessly works with them until adopted. From the original founders to every last volunteer and foster…no animal could be luckier than to land in their loving care!

Power of the Paw took in a cat that was hit and in really bad shape. they operated o him and he died twice during the operation. POTP had this cat operated on to ave his life. I now own this cat and have had him for three years. He is the most loving, affectionate animal I have had in a very long time. He gets along with my husband ( who really isn’t a cat person), and our two dogs. Love this cat and thank you so much to Power Of The Paw for deciding to save this cat’s life. He is the love of your home.

After seeing all the amazing things POP does for animals on FB I had faith that I could contact them to help me with my own issue. I was new to the area with a special need dog and needed a trustable vet. They were able to recommend and my pup was feeling better then she had in years. They are now the only organization I make donations to!

Power of the Paw is an amazing organization that helps all animals and does not discriminate by age color sex or breed. I adopted a dog that was on a euthanasia list in California because of a minor medical issue. They go out of their wayard for every animal they save. They deserve all the recognition they can get.

Power of the Paw is an amazing organization that saves the abandoned and needy in the local county. They help those who are in medical need, seniors, and relieve the burden on local shelters to help keep them no kill. It is a complete volunteer ran not for profit organization that truly saves one by one until there’s none!
