Arik Lafler changed my hair life. I know that sounds melodramatic, but hear me out. I have very thick, naturally curly hair. It is difficult to work with. It requires patience. For a period of time (before Arik) I had a stylist who would refer to coloring and cutting my hair as “going to war”. The shortest story of embarrassment I can tell you is when, after putting bleach in my hair to lighten it and sticking up under a heater for period of time, she called over an additional THREE stylists to help comb through it. The salon in my hometown was full of clients and I was mortified. They all mocked my hair, calling it difficult and tangled. Well, of course it was tangled. You had bleached, fried then washed it in a basin. It took me months to go back to a stylist. I have known Arik most of my life and called him to make an appointment after six months of hiding my hair in buns. The front desk gave me two hours in his books. I sat down in Arik’s chair and everything was different. He took my hair down and asked me what had happened. I cried and told him everything. He patiently began combing through it and letting me work through my emotions. He moved THREE clients that day to get me through the severe hair treatment I needed. We made a cut/color plan. After five or six hours in his chair, my hair was beautiful. I felt beautiful. I couldn’t wait to come back. Arik did my hair for the next three years. He helped me through my hair trauma and my daily drama. I have since moved a significant distance away and nobody has every been as good to me and my hair as Arik. Arik is amazing! He did my make-up for my wedding and I seriously felt like a princess…and I’m not a girlie person. I loved how he made me look natural with a bit of color as he knew I didn’t like a lot of color. He even left his salon and met me at the church because our picture times were rearranged! I just love Arik!

Arik from Sidney, Nebraska has been my stylist for a couple of years now. Every service he has given me has been incredible. His grey blend work is fantastic! I have been growing out my hair, from super short to past my shoulders, and the transition has been so carefree (definitely not the norm for me). We started with a mild perm and progressed to trimming the layers and adding some lowlights and highlights. My hair has never looked better– every day, all year long.

Amazing person and stylist, he always personilzes for each client. Have never once been disapointed with my cut and color I go in with expectations and I leave blown away…. Expectations are always met and above what I thought or wanted! Will never go anywhere else!

Arik always does an AMAZING job! He takes the time to listen to what you want and he brings it to life! And when you let him use his creativity you can bet it will pay off!

Aarik did my hair several weeks ago. I’m growing it out from a pixie and he did a beautiful job cutting it too accentuate my jaw line, blended in some layers, and put in the perfect blonde tones! HIGHLY recommend!

Arik is an amazing artist. His cuts and colors are awesome.
