Krystlyn is hands down the best barber/cosmetologist in the WA area. She can do anyone’s hair and I mean anyone. Her salon is charming and always clean. Whenever my children need to tag along she has toys waiting for them upon arrival. I would recommend Pure Elegance Salon to all of my friends and family looking for an amazing hair experience.

Krystlyn is a talented & experienced hair dresser, she has the ability & the confidence to handle just about any type of hair, or client from babies to elderly & everyone in between! -I have had many experiences with Pure Elegance Salon, & I wouldn\’t go anywhere else in Pierce County. 🙂

At 62, I had pretty much given up hope that I would ever look any better, let alone younger. I had stopped going to have my hair done years earlier because I could never find anyone that could do anything decent with it. However, I was finally so fed up with the way it looked, I went to Krystlyn, the owner of Pure Elegance, in desperation, basically because she could fit me in THAT DAY! (I was afraid I would lose my resolve if I waited. I was very lucky that she happened to have had a cancellation minutes before I called her. It was meant to be!) She was very kind and patient with me as I tried to tell her what I was looking for and then she went over all of my options with me. Not really having a clue what I really wanted, I told her, “Just do whatever you think will makes it look the best”. I was scared to death but figured that it couldn’t get any worse! She actually had the wisdom to not be TOO drastic, but I left with a whole new look and a whole new attitude about myself and my hair. By the end of the third week, I was ready to take her suggestion and at the next appointment, had her lighten and foil my hair. Voilá! I no longer looked like “the Wicked Witch of the West” with hair that had been WAY too dark for years! The change not only softened my features, it appeared to take about 15 years away from me! When people I have not met before meet me now, they are truly shocked that I am actually the grandmother and not the mother of my two oldest granddaughters, aged 11 and 8. Wow! What does that do to my ego? I am one happy camper, for sure! My husband is also a great fan of hers and loves my new “look”. Krystlyn is a master at what she does and I have seen her transform others the way she has done for me. She is warm, funny and caring and is really interesting to talk and listen to. She has tons of good suggestions and I look forward to every visit. I will go to her as long as I still have hair (and maybe beyond)! She probably would have a fix for that situation too! Her salon is classy yet comfortable and the people she employs are artists as well. I simply cannot recommend her or her salon enough! Do yourself a favor and try out Pure Elegance in DuPont! Even if you aren’t super close to DuPont, it is worth the drive. You will never regret your decision!

Krystlan is truly the best hairdresser I have had cut my hair. She can make any length, texture, to include very curly thick hair, look absolutely gorgeous!

Krystlyn (owner of Pure Elegance Salon) has been doing my hair for a total of four years. I have nothing but AWESOME things to say about her. The atmosphere of the salon is warm, welcoming and most of all fun! I always look forward to my appointments because Krystlyn makes sure you are pampered and treated like a princess. Cierra recently joined the team at Pure Elegance Salon as a Cosmetologist and Permanent Cosmetics. Her work is also amazing!! My entire life I have struggled with my eyebrows. I made an appointment with Ciara to have her microblade my eyebrows….I now have the perfect eyebrows!! I get compliments on them at least once a day. Their hard work at this salon has truly made a difference in my everyday life. With Krystlyn\’s skills, I walk out of the salon feeling and looking years younger and beautiful. Ciara\’s talent has saved me so much time with not having to fill in my brows every morning and has brought back my confidence so much, I don\’t have to apply makeup on a daily basis anymore. Krystlyn is an AMAZING artist. She has a broad range of skills and can do any type of hair. She is an expert at haircuts, color, braids, up-dos, you name it. It rare to find someone who not only has the ability to work on all types of hair, but also can tell you the science behind how hair product work. Krys is the best!
