Rainbow Scissors and Suds

Oh my god! Let me tell you, I didn’t know what I was expecting when I pulled up to Rainbow Scissors and Suds. I knew Moose needed a grooming and I wanted to get him cut shorter than I ever had before. I had asked on Facebook for recommendations on a groomer that had experience with Goldendoodles specifically, as the place I was going to did not seem to really know how to handle the coat of a doodle. I initially chose Rainbow Scissors and Suds because they had so many great recommendations, they only book one dog at a time, AND they not only allow but ENCOURAGE furparents to stay with their baby while they are being groomed. Moose and I had a fantastic time. From the moment we got out of the car, the ladies at Rainbow Scissors and Suds were there to greet us. We went inside and they let Moose check out his surroundings and spent time sitting and playing and petting him. He LOVED all of the attention! They truly take their time and I did not feel rushed AT. ALL. And Moose is a big guy. Once he was done getting bathed, they began to dry him and he started barking and I realized he needed to go outside. These lovely ladies immediately accommodated for Moose and stopped all processes so I could take him outside. My poor guy took FOREVER to dry, but I didn’t see anything outside of a smile and a loving attitude out of anybody there. When it came time to cut him, I knew Moose had quite a few mats that I couldn’t get out, and they were bad. So I told them I understood if they had to cut shorter than what I was asking due to the mats. Every single person in that room went above and beyond to get the mats out without having to shave him all down. They took their time with Moose and again accommodated for him when he started getting tired. There was praise and love given for everything and, even though he was fired by the end, Moose was SO happy and excited and I know he loves his new cut, as do I. He feels so velvety smooth and looks clean and MAT FREE!! The other groomer I was going to, I would pick Moose up and he would still have mats. The ladies at Rainbow Scissors and Suds truly take their time with and absolutely adore their clients and I heard several times “It’s about them not us”. They truly put the dogs and their families first, and worked with me and my requests as they were cutting Moose. They constantly asked how I felt about his cut and if I thought anything needed to be changed. For the first time ever when it came to Moose’s grooming, I truly felt like I was in control and could easily communicate what I wanted for my dog. I will be returning to Rainbow Scissors and Suds and recommend them 110%! First picture was Moose before getting cut, and the following pictures are after his cut. NONE of these pictures do him justice, he is SO handsome!

I love that my fur baby is treated like one of their own. If he ever shows any signs of not liking part of the grooming process, Jackie moves onto a different part of his body and comes back to that part when he’s settled down some. She never stresses my pooch! I also love that we’re able to stay with him while he’s being groomed. So glad I found Rainbow, Scissors and Suds!!

They treat my dogs like they are family! Always respectful.

The BEST groomer we’ve been to. Very caring and patient with my dog who is anxious when being groomed. He looks and smells fantastic afterwards! Thers is no doubt that Jackie and Sarah genuinely cared about my boy and I could feel it immediately. My only regret is not finding them sooner.

Jackie is so good to my 4 fur babies. She treats them as though they are her own. Even though one bit her, she still loves her. She is amazing when it comes to grooming too.

They do great grooming at reasonable prices. Dogs love it there and they don’t stay in a cage all day. They are groomed as soon as they are dropped off and the groomers really love the dogs!!!

They love our pets like they are their own.
