I’ve been going to ROAR for almost a year now and I have been impressed every time I’ve gone. ROAR gets in dogs from different backgrounds and is always willing to take in the troubling cases no matter the cost. I’ve seen dogs come in a skeleton and leave to a new home with a full belly and a new outlook on life. It’s amazing seeing such a transformation in these great creatures. One of those dogs ended up becoming a part of my family. He was the runt and sick with parvo. Once he was healthy and a steady weight, he was neutered, but crashed on the table. The vets and the shelter were not able to see the signs of pneumonia. I thought I’d lose my baby, but the owner Crystal brought him back from the dead and I couldn’t be more thankful. My dog is just one example of the great work ROAR does and I hope it is enough to get others to adopt from such a great organization.
