I\’ve been a specialty grade coffee lover for quite a few years and I home roast too. I\’ve had the pleasure of experiencing some very tasty coffees over the years. Dave and his partner source high quality, single origin beans and they roast the coffee themselves in small batches. They do a darn good job of bringing out the nuances and flavors contained in those little beans. Not to mention, your coffee is made to order, by the cup and you can choose from different preparation methods. Different pour over types (Chemex, Hario style cone etc) and siphon coffee too which is an interesting method of making coffee. Of course espressos are also available and are tasty. There are a few other places in town that serve very good coffee, but none of them have the homey atmosphere that Rogue does. Not to mention, Dave and Dave are very friendly guys who are very knowledgeable when it comes to coffee.
