I am not a fan of this high-kill shelter. They fudge numbers, hide behind blaming the community for the slaughtering of adoptable animals, and refuse to follow their own mission statement of being more proactive. There is no post adoption counseling either. If you have problems with an adopted pet, oh well! Sucks for you! Sad!

I find the shelter to be kept clean. They are always willing to go to adoption events to get their pets adopted out. They are always patient with new owners and answer all their questions. And I enjoy working with them and the other volunteers there.

Rosenberg animal shelter is a high kill shelter. The council does not care to be anything but a high kill shelter . Get involved to help the animals.
