As a Reiki practitioner/teacher I have great respect for SARA. I have taken a few classes from Kathleen (SARA President) and Leah (SARA Vice-President) and they are first rate teachers, always there to give a helping hand. It is a stellar organization for supporting the animal community and those who care for the animals in shelters and sanctuaries by teaching and sharing Reiki to both the animals and their caregivers. I am honored to be a part of SARA.

SARA is a fabulous resource for all shelters, rescues and more! The organization and members provide tools for both animals and caretakers to create a loving and compassionate space that allows for healing to occur on all levels. Beautiful organization! <3

Shelter Animal Reiki Organization combines compassion, education and empathy towards animals. SARA members actively help shelter animals and their caregivers with Reiki healing. With Reiki animals become much more relaxed and adoptable. With their work, SARA members have a direct impact on minimizing compassion burnout among the rescue animals caregivers. One of the best animal rescue related organizations.
