Southern California Golden Retriever Rescue

This group of volunteers are amazing. They truly are all about saving the Golden\’s no matter the cost. We adopted our Buddy from them last December. Buddy is such a good soul and I know he appreciates every day of his life. He came to us after both my Goldens passed last year. I\’m so thankful for this organization and so are all the dogs they save every year.

All dogs, no matter how ill when found are treated medically and loved as long as their lives last. Healthy dogs find loving forever homes and the dogs never go to a kennel, they are all in foster homes with caring volunteers. There are even permanent fosters for those who cannot move on to a forever home due to medical issues and the medical costs are covered by the program. What a wonderful way to love our pups!

SCGRR is a wonderful organization that effectively represents and rescues the beautiful Golden Retriever. The many opportunities to get involved and help the rescue prosper make it an accessible organization for everyone. I do not have a golden myself, yet I feel very attached and love attending the events that are held by the SCGRR or ones that it attends. The adoption process, too, is perfect; the steps and measures taken assure a successful, loving home for the dogs, the ultimate goal!

SCGRR has the most supportive and caring individuals. They work tirelessly to make sure each and every golden is given the wonderful life it deserves. Golden retrievers are the most wonderful dogs and the works that SCGRR does it incredible. I am such a huge huge fan.

I’m a fan because all the volunteers work tirelessly to rescue dogs that need rescuing. I hope to join their group when I retire next year. Love this organization.

I am constantly impressed with the dedicated group of volunteers that make SCGRR a reality every day which keeps $ going directly to the dogs rather than to overhead or salaries. Dogs are kept in loving foster homes and rach is assigned an agent to find the family that best meets their needs. And this group covers a huge territory from Santa Barbara to San Diego and through the inland empire!

I adopted my dog from this organization years ago. They have only continued to grow and support connecting dogs with forever homes. They are so wonderful and provide an axing service for dogs who need homes.

SCGRR is an amazing rescue!! They are completely volunteer run – all monies go towards saving these beautiful dogs and finding them the best homes.
