Love that they take in retire racehorses and other breeds and the regular everyday volunteers are great. The people in charge are really nasty. I contacted them about a horse and it took weeks to hear back, then I was told the horse I was interested in was held for an adopter. I was told they don’t hold horses originally. I did go see some other ones and that barn is old and falling a part. I guess the guy the lease the land from doesn’t let them do anything to make it nice. While I wound up buying a horse from someone else I had to say the dedication the regular volunteers had is awesome-they really care about the horses wellbeing.

I visited my best friend last year and she introduced me to the Sunshine family. AWESOME residence and oh ya the helpers we great also…, met some really nice caregivers. Thank you Beth Smart for showing me satisfaction and greatness of your passion. Huge blessings to all!!

Sunshine helps more than just animals its a place to escape from the world and feed your soul when you truly need it ♡ The work they do with rescued horses is amazing, if they can help just 1 horse its a success. They just dont quit!

Sunshine Horses Inc. is an incredibly amazing all volunteer organization that includes some of the hardest working, kindest, most caring, competent individuals you will ever have the pleasure of knowing. Their motto is ” helping horses, helping people ” and they live up to it every single day.
