Sweetpea Friends of Rutland is a no-kill shelter that represents all the things a shelter should be… They are compassionate, caring, dedicated to the well being of animal welfare and they are a true group of folks who stand together through the good and the hard times… These people are some of the finest folks who work in rescue–they genuinely care about all animals, they are smart, savvy and they are very hard working… i am proud to support their cause and am a huge fan of all they represent !!

They have saved so many animals that would have otherwise perished. I was devastated when they had a fire and lost so many babies. I am thrilled they are rebuilding.

I am huge fan of this rescue because they do everything in their power to save as many animals as they possible can. and even with the fire they had they still stepped up and helped animals while dealing with a major loss. This rescue group deserves nothing but the very best

SweetPea has an amazing staff and owners. They have saved countless thrown away pets and welcomed them with love. In the face of horrific loss and heartache they continue to rise above for the animals. I can think of none more deserving.

Animal rescues come in all sizes but Sweetpea is special. When you look into the eyes of an animal saved and see that tail wag, you know just how important a place like Sweetpea is. They care, they are awesome and worthy. God bless them.
