Well first of all, I am the cashier on The Food Dude food truck and enjoy my job very much. Thomas Allen or otherwise known as The Food Dude, him and I met back when we use to work at HK on the Bay together. He was the back of the house manager for the kitchen and I was a hostess. I would always run back to the kitchen and ask him to suprise me with something new to eat. And every time my tastebuds would water!! His skills in the kitchen are remarkable. I have been with him throughout his whole transition of becoming a food truck owner and I can honestly say that he is one that never disappoints. We have had a tremendous amount of compliments from our customers that have made it a point to come back up to the window in order to tell Thomas how great his food was. All in all, Thomas Allen has made a huge impact on the food industry, especially in the Hampton Roads area and will continue to do so.

The food dude is one of my favorite food trucks in Virginia beach. The quality of food provided is unsurpassable. His Jerk Chicken tacos are a burst of flavor in your mouth. He has also very reasonable prices and a great selection on the menu. Not to mention very friendly service!

The Food Dude’s menu is innovative and delicious!!! I met Thomas at an event and he could not have been any nicer. Great guy with a amazing talent!
