The authentic German food is fantastic — my German husband and I always feel as if we’ve gone “home.” They have a large menu–and everything is fresh. Portions are HUGE. . .even when you go for the Early Bird specials. They also have a large selection of fine German wines, beers, and champagne–with traditional draft beers. They’re family friendly, too. They’re closed on Wednesdays, but you’ll usually find the owners on sight every other day–one is the chef and the other is the hostess! The atmosphere is pure German neighborhood charming. AND THEY TAKE RESERVATIONS! In fact, reservations are suggested the nights they have live German music–request your favorite songs–September 16, 17, & 30 as well as October 1 and 21 & 22!
