Thompson River Animal Care Shelter

I am a fan for several reasons. 1) I believe that TRACS fills a need in this community and they fill it well with compassion and devotion. 2) When my daughter wanted a pup, they matched her up with one that was perfect. 3) I have watched TRACS grow from an idea and a hope (through my friend) to what it is now and I have the greatest respect for the people, all of the people, who donate their time and energy to the animals there.

We adopted from TRACS two years ago. I had to put down my 16 y/o dog and was missing the companionship. My daughter was on pet finder and found a dog from TRACS. She emailed them several times and they replied each and every time answering all her questions. She then texted me at work that she had put money down on a little dog that she felt would be perfect for me. A few days later we made the two hour trip to pick up my Daisy. When we arrived, we found a great crew of wonderful, caring individuals that take great pride in what they do. We have no regrets and would not hesitate to adopt from them again. We highly recommend this great rescue.

We have 3 beautiful fur babies from TRACS! We appreciate everything they do finding homes for these most lovable animals!

The best shelter ever, staffed by totally dedicated and devoted animal lovers. There is nothing they do not do for the animals. They have worked so hard over the years acquiring buildings which they converted into safe, sanitary, and healthy living spaces for the animals. They are committed to finding loving forever homes for each and every animal. TRACS is very much a part of our community and is actively supported by the community. I am so thankful for, and appreciative of, the wonderful work they do on behalf of animals.
