Michael works tirelessly and is always front of house to ensure that his customers have a personalized and optimal experience at Tide. He greets us personally, knows our regular orders and makes the best coffee in town…no exceptions. Food is great and no alterations are too much trouble. Best restaurant in town …again…no contest!

Great coffee, great food and friendly service

I have been a customer of Tide Gregory St on many occasions. Every time I have not been disappointed. Firstly Michael & Brooke are fantastic hosts always greeting us by name & asking how we are. The menu has a large selection for every one whet you just want something light or are very hungry as you can add or choose what you want. By the way Brooke’s eggs Benedict are the best I’ve ever had ! Love how they have lots of specials & change the menu regularly just to keep us surprised. Now for the coffee. Love the bounce coffee has a lovely smooth taste and is always just the right temp. Love the way you can choose to sit in or outside & theres always a today’s paper or interesting mag to read. Great food , great coffee , great setting and great service that’s why I think Tide Cafe on Gregory is the best Cafe in Townsville/Queensland.
