Absolutely horrible experience! My co-worker and I frequent Zino’s on George Washington Hwy often. Today we decided to go again and bring along another co-worker, during this time my co-worker ordered off of the express lunch menu. After 10 minutes passed she stated that the menu said her meal would be FREE. Upon showing this to the waitress she stated, “oh that means the salad would be out by then,” which she had just placed in front of her. However at this time it was already too late she stated she would go look at the time then turned around and said no I’ll just take care of it. At the end of our experience right before she gave us the bill my co-worker asked what part will be taken care of. She then came up with another argument that she didn’t know who ordered what and went back-and-forth with my co-worker, the customer, before rudely stating she would just pay for it and storming off. As this matter did not sit well with us we decided to call to inform someone. When calling we discovered that she was the manager, Jessica. We asked if there was another manager to speak to and she stated there was not. She then crudely stated that she had taken care of it so what was the problem. We then asked to speak to the owner who we heard in the background arguing with her about coming to the phone and asking what do they want. After explaining the situation to him all we got was a simple OK…. long pause…. I will talk to her about it. This customer service was nonexistent! I wouldn’t advise anyone to spend their hard earned dollar where it is not appreciated. If you do not want to honor the policy you should perhaps reprint the menus. Again if you are thinking about eating here think again this service is deplorable!
